I have been actively working on RAD 7 since last few months and I was trying to set up my Portal test environment and I stumbled upon the fact that IBM does not give away (as usual) free stuff. RAD 7 does NOT come default with Websphere Portal (6.0 Test, 6.0 Dev ed., 6.1 Express or 6.1 Dev ed.). People who want to work on Websphere Portal have following options ;

- If you want free stuff (dev ed. 60 days eval.) download Portal 6.1 Express Eval version(no IBM wouldnt even let u eval the 6.1 Regular Ver)
- If your company is involved, you can either buy Websphere Portal 6.0 or 6.1 Reg. Ver.

I am trying Websphere Portal 6.1 Express with RAD 7.0.0.7, seems RAD 7.0 DOES NOT support Portal 6.1, RAD 7.0.0.7 WILL but with some limitations.

Apple on Tuesday, January 15, 2008, showed its prized possession MacBook Air...pretty nice config and looks, some shortcomings but overall good stuff...compared to other competitors in this category the price range is low so lets see whats up on their sales chart for the first quarter of 2008. Until then if you have time go visit nearest Mac showroom, even if you are not planning to buy one..there is no harm in feasting your eyes with this cool shaped, razor thin lappie.
